Recent social unrest in the United States is causing many organizations and institutions to think critically about norms, policies, and practices that contribute to and sustain inequities in society. In this modified World-Café-format discussion, participants will have the opportunity to explore several critical issues that will be framed by facilitators based on input collected prior to the event. Discussions will focus on actionable items that leaders and managers can implement locally to improve inclusivity in institutions and that can chart a path for greater equity in the archives profession and in society. This session builds on the SAA Council Statement on Black Lives and Archives and the three forums held by the SAA Council and Diversity Committee in June, July, and August 2020.
