This course will review considerations for creating documentation, choosing tools, and providing access to born-digital records. It will summarize various methods for providing access and on identifying and redacting sensitive or protected information from born-digital records. This course will also focus on how to approach description and accessibility in order to increase discoverability and useability in compliance with legal and ethical considerations. You will come away feeling more confident providing access to your born-digital records.
